When the pandemic struck we began meeting on Zoom to share songs individually. It took us and Zoom a while to figure out how to share sound and music over the internet, and in many cases we never did. But poor sound quality didn’t stop us from getting together and doing songs we loved. In spite of the clicks, buzzes, hums, and other stray noises, poor lighting, and odd camera positioning, we persisted. Here is a sampling of the songs George performed on our song circle from July of 2020 through September of 2020. It begins and ends with a short clip of Aaron Neville singing Danny Boy as a way to memorialize George.
